Funding
Funding is obtained by the Free State of Bavaria, the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, in particular the clusters for excellence Center for Integrated Protein Science Munich CIPSM, Nanosystems Initiative Munich NIM, the Leibniz programme, the SFB646 "Regulatory networks in genome expression and maintenance", the Transregio 5 "Chromatin", by the European Union, in particular the European Research Council ERC, by the European Molecular Biology Organization, the Alexander-von-Humboldt Foundation, the Boehringer-Ingelheim Fonds, and the Jung Foundation. The lab participates in various PhD programs, including the International Max-Planck Research School "From biology to medicine" and the graduate programs "NanoBioTechnology" and "Proteins in Health and Disease" within the Bavarian Elite Network. The lab is associated with the Max-Planck-Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried via an external scientific membership of Patrick Cramer at this institute.
